Eleanor Roosevelt’s View of Winston Churchill. A Presentation by Mary Jo Binker, An Editor of the Eleanor Roosevelt papers.
A delicious brunch will be followed by the expert presentation.
Our speaker, Mary Jo Binker, is one of the editors of the Eleanor Roosevelt Papers, a documentary editing project based at George Washington University. In addition to editing the first two volumes of that series, she is the author of Herstory: An Oral History Handbook for Collecting Military Women’s Stories (Military Women’s Press, 2002) and a co-author of A Defense Weapon Known to be of Value: Servicewomen of the Korea War Era (University Press of New England, 2005). Her work has also appeared in a variety of publications including Time Life books and the Journal of White House History. Ms. Binker holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Oregon State University and a master’s degree in American History from George Mason University.
The cost is $34 a person.
