18 & 19 November

Location: Churchill College, Cambridge

Churchill College will be hosting an internationally important conference on ‘The Cold War and its Legacy’. Full details of subjects and speakers are available on the Churchill Archives Centre website.

Sir Winston Churchill will, of course, feature prominently, and we have contributions from a number of prominent Churchill scholars, including:
Sir Martin Gilbert, Professor Christopher Andrew, Professor David Reynolds and Dr David Woolner. There will be witness testimony from Senator Howard Baker, Winston Churchill, Susan Eisenhower, Field Marshal Inge, Hugh Lunghi, Lord Powell and Senator Warner to name but a few. There will be strong Russian representation, including Dr Alexander Likhotal, a former adviser and spokesperson to President Gorbachev, as well as key speakers from China, France, Germany, India, and Roumania.
