On Friday 13 May, the Churchill War Rooms invites you to After Hours, an evening inspired by the 1940s inside Churchill’s secret wartime bunker.

MoreThe event, part of Museums at Night 2011, is an exciting way to discover the historic rooms beneath the streets of Whitehall while being whisked back to the 1940s. Hot off the press is news that sizzling quintet Elle & the Pocket Belles is performing a short set of 1940s classics. There’s a vintage boudoir where you can get a glamorous 1940s makeover before discovering those forgotten forties fashions in our dressing-up box and having your picture taken in front of the No. 10 door!
Informal tours will be offered on the evening, but you can also choose to just relax and mingle in the bar area. A full cash bar will be serving ‘sharing platters’, bar snacks and a range of drinks including Pol Roger, Churchill’s favourite champagne!
