The full schedule for the 34th International Churchill Conference has now been set. The conference will take place at the J. W. Marriott Essex House in New York City next October 10, 11, and 12. Follow this link to register today.

The conference will begin on Tuesday, October 10 with a tour for those arriving early of historic Greenwood Cemetery in Brooklyn. This is the burial site of Winston Churchill’s maternal grandparents and numerous other luminaries. In the afternoon, a special talk about the Dunkirk evacuation will take place at Chartwell Booksellers. The opening reception will take place in the evening at the Essex House with welcoming remarks by Randolph Churchill followed by a special screening of the forthcoming film Darkest Hour starring Gary Oldman as Churchill becoming prime minister in 1940.

The second day of the conference includes a full day of speakers including talks by members of the House of Lords as well as members of the Churchill family. Lady Williams, one of Churchill’s last surviving secretaries and the mother of the present Archbishop of Canterbury, will share her memories with Churchill granddaughter Celia Sandys. In the evening Lord Dobbs, creator of the immensely popular House of Cards series, will deliver the Keynote Speech at our annual black-tie gala.
